Billie Kathleen Mardis, age 87 of Maumelle, AR, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 29, 2025. She was born March 16, 1938, in Possum Grape, Arkansas.

During her life she was a volunteer for the Red Cross, Maumelle Senior Center, and White county hospital.  She loved gardening, playing dominoes, singing, fishing, reading, camping, swimming and antiquing and metal detecting.  She worked at the Searcy police department as a dispatcher and deputy. She loved to frequent thrift stores and antique stores, collecting meaningful pieces over the years that she proudly displayed in her home.

She is survived by children Ralph Mardis (Kathy), Scott Mardis (Miko), Kristi Bergaus (Bob) as well as children Dick, Debbie, and Donna from her first marriage. She is also remembered by other family, grandchildren and friends who will deeply miss her.

A private family memorial will be held later this year.
