I met David at West Side Junior High in Little Rock when we were both in the seventh grade, and we soon became best friends. Over the next several years we ran around together, double-dated, played sports, and such. I lost touch with him after high school. The last time I saw him was in a department store downtown where he was the assistant manager, maybe when I was home on leave from the Navy in 1964. I knew him as a good guy, serious and responsible. I hope he had a good, satisfying life. RIP, David.
Thank you for sharing.
Im wondering why thr funeral home never asked Gayle or me what we wanted the obituary to say. That being said i am they only child kf David’s. He lover to fish. He was a very hard worker

I’ve known Mr Sanderson most of my life. I’m at his daughter when I was about 14 years old. And an FHA convention and arkadelphia Arkansas. Even met his dad when I went to college at Henderson State University. He was a character he kept me and my friend Alma laughing all the time only spent time with him and his daughter. He was full of lots of information. He gave us plenty of advice growing up. I’m so sad that he’s gone now. I’m sending lots of prayers and love to Donna and the family. I hate that his great-grandchildren will never know him. Much love to Donna who is my best friend along with Alma still here on Earth. If you did not know David Sanderson you were missing something he was one of the most unique people I’ve ever met in my life. He was wanted to give me lots of advice as of that of a father and the non-judgmental.
Sad to hear that you have left us, David. We will miss all of our get togethers as friends and great grandparents. Rest in peace, David, Looking forward to meeting up again in the hereafter. Prayers for the family.🙏💕
