Dustin Michael “DC” Canfield, born on October 2, 1986, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Little Rock. He was 39 years old.
Dustin’s life began and ended in the same city, also Hometown of Jacksonville but his presence reached far beyond. Known to many by his nickname “DC,” he was a son, a father, a brother, and a grandson whose memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Christopher C. Canfield, and his mother, Rowena Canfield. Dustin shared deep bonds with his siblings: brothers Chris Canfield, Damien Young, and Christian Young; and sister Brittney Canfield. His legacy continues through his children—his son Cayden Canfield and daughter Ashlynn Black—who brought him immense pride and joy.
Dustin also leaves behind his grandmother Robbie Pendegrass and numerous extended family members including aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces who will hold onto fond memories of their time with him.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Ted Canfield, Jerry Pendergrass, and Richard Tackenberg; as well as grandmothers Joan Ruelle and Christa Tackenberg. Their memories remain part of the fabric of Dustin’s life story.
May Dustin Michael “DC” Canfield’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
