Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Geraldine Louise Noelte, age 80, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, moving on to her heavenly home with her Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026. Born in Central Falls Rhode Island on January 17th, 1945, Geraldine Louise Monty, to her late Father Leo T. Monty of Fall River Massachusetts and her late Mother Rachael E. (Cowles) Monty of Amherst Massachusetts.

Geraldine, a graduate of William E. Tolman High School in 1962, who was known for her many jobs of baby sitting for family, friends and neighbors while growing up in Seekonk Massachusetts, went to work for the Historic “Hope Webbing Textile Mill Co.” of Pawtucket R.I., where soon after she began a Family with the late Walter R. Noelte. Geraldine who was more commonly referred to as “Gerri” was the type to have never met a stranger and was generally well liked by all who crossed her path. Gerri, who had also gone to hairdressing school and practiced hairdressing for a season, eventually found her true skill in secretarial work and was a true multitasker/organizer moving up in her career working at several prestigious law firms and also working as an administrative assistant for Fram Corporation’s Corporate Office in East Providence R.I.. In her Retirement years Gerri met up with Ronald P. Parker Jr. of Foxborough Massachusetts, Ronald, an avid Horseshoe player kept Gerri busy, as she spent weekends as a scorekeeper at Horseshoe tournaments all over New England. In 2020, Gerri and Ron moved to Sherwood Arkansas.

Geraldine is proceeded in death by her sister Adeline J. MacManus and survived by her brother Leo T. Monty & Sandy, Sons Michael W. Noelte & Denise, Steven E. Noelte & Lynn (deceased), Walter C. Noelte & Kellie. Along with Grandchildren Annette M. Chambers & Chris, Arthur W. Tuckey & Krysteen and Nicholas E. Noelte & Dakota and Gerri’s Life Parter Ronald P. Parker Jr.. Geraldine is also survived by many other Nieces & Nephews who loved her deeply.

A memorial service will be held at The Connection Church of Sherwood, 14322 Hwy 107, Gravel Ridge, Arkansas 72076. The service will be on Saturday, February 7th, at 3:00 PM. Service will be streamed via YouTube, Facebook Live, Zoom or Other Platform not yet know at this time.

    Gerri was a genuinely beautiful person. I have so many wonderful memories of her generosity and kindness . Always lending a listening ear. I am blessed she was my aunt and I will sadly miss her.
