Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Jackie A. Plumley, age 69, of Romance, Arkansas passed away on January 5, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1956 to Andrew Jackson Plumley and Edith Laverne Kellebrew.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Omar and Lillian Kellebrew, father Andrew Jackson Plumley, wife Lori Brantley Plumley, daughter Amy Plumley.

He is survived by his mother Edith Kondis; daughter Rachael Cagle; grandchildren Sklar, Isabella, and Brooke Rogers; 4 sisters Pamela Spiczak, Sharon Tidwell, Deborah Henson and Melba Ostrander; lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins whom he grew up with and loved so dearly like brothers and sisters.

Jackie was educated at Eudora, Arkansas and Watson Chapel, Arkansas. He had lots of friends, worked in oil fields, and worked many years as mechanical engineer for fed-ex airlines. He went on to being a building inspector for Engle Homes Sub-Divisions in Cape Coral, Florida. Upon moving back to his state, he loved working with county of Jefferson, White County before retiring.

A family-hosted celebration of life is planned at the Home of his Mother Edith Kondis in Pine Bluff, AR on Saturday January 17, 2026 at 10am.

    jackie my friend, thank you for taking me in and giving me the life i needed. you let me move in and took care of me when things weren’t right at home, over the months that i stayed with you we built a relationship that ill never forget. thank you for being the grandfather i never had, i will miss the silly jokes and the early morning runs to chic fil a. i miss you jackie
