Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Mary Marceda “Marcy” DeVinney, 78, of Lonoke, AR, died on January 17, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. DeVinney was born July 15, 1947, in Camden, AR, to the late Doyle Morrison and Annie Lou Means-Morrison.

For many years, Marcy could be found at DeVinney’s Plumbing Store, proudly serving as the “famous” secretary doing her best to keep everyone in line.

She is preceded in death by her late parents, stepmother Doris Bradshaw-Morrison, and son Stephen Darren Simmons.

Mrs. DeVinney is survived by her loving husband, Danny DeVinney, of fifty-six years. Together, they wrote a love story that many dream of, simply living by, “No matter how bad the argument is, never go to bed angry at the person you love with all your heart, until you both can stroll over heaven with one another, someday.”

To also cherish her memory, she leaves behind her daughter, Kristi Suzanne Muse, and son-in-law Brett of Dierks, AR, and son Tony DeVinney of Lonoke, AR; three granddaughters: Brianne Simmons-White of Carlisle, AR, Sheyanne Barton and husband Daniel of Washington, AR, and Madasan Deputy and husband Tristan of Dierks, AR; two grandsons: Carson DeVinney and Alexx DeVinney of Lonoke, AR; ten great-grandchildren: Dara and JP White, Kase, Koup, Chaney and Charlee Barton, Emersyn, Tylee, Taylee, and Tate Deputy; one sister: Doylene Brazeale and husband Jeff of Camden, AR; two brothers: Richard Morrison and wife Karoline of Camden, AR, and Tryon Morrison and wife Martha of Camden, AR; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 1:00pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Brownsville located at 1970 Brownsville Loop Road in Lonoke, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke.
