Michael Wayne Catlett Sr., age 73, passed away on January 17, 2026 at Springhill Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was married to Elizabeth Ann Catlett for the last 43 years of his life. He was born to Veda Catlett and Leon Catlett in Wynne, Arkansas on December 29, 1952.

He was a retired construction worker and equipment operator. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. He also always needed his sweets and Diet Coke.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Catlett; his kids Michael Catlett (Rita), Casondra Catlett (Clayton Glasco), Carey Woodall (Christie), Steven Woodall (Pamela), and Melissa Harper (Monty); 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; along with a host of cousins, aunt, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leon Catlett and Veda Catlett; sister Alice Hillman; great-granddaughter Blaiklee Mosley; niece Kimberly Hendrix; and nephew Joshua Garcia.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
