Ms. Shirley Higley, 83, died on Wednesday, January the 7th at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy, AR.

Born in Madera, CA, Shirley grew up in the central valley of California. She lived in the central valley of California for many years and operated a day care center in Atwater, CA. Shirley prided herself on her friendliness and had a deep love for people. She loved her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was very important to her. She was a devoted Christian.

She is preceded in death by her father, Theodore Peter “Ted” Koch (1952), her mother, Ruby Ferguson-Koch (2013), former spouse and father of her children, Tilden Leon Langley (2020), and husband, Bill Higley (2024).

She is survived by her sister, Carol Vannatta; daughter, Kim Ybarra; sons, Michael Langley and Tim Langley; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
