Patrick Wayne Haynie, age 88, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on January 9, 2026. He was born on July 27, 1937 at Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Albert M. Haynie and Elizabeth (Dolly) Hester Haynie.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia B. (Alpe) Haynie, his son Michael W. Haynie.

His survivors are son Gary M. Haynie, granddaughter Sylvia Haynie, cousins Kirby Haynie and Bill Haynie, and daughter-in-law Christina Haynie.

Mr. Haynie was a retired mental health administrator. He attended Little Rock Central High and the University of Arkansas where he studied Finance and Healthcare Management. He interned as a hospital administrator at the University of Arkansas Medical Center (UAMS) and the Arkansas State Hospital. Mr. Haynie was a retired administrator of the Arkansas State Hospital. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Delta Counseling having retired January 1, 2019. Mr. Haynie was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
