On January 2, 2026, the Lord received the soul of Pauline “Polly” Jeanette Croskrey (Carter) who passed away peacefully at home at the age of 90. She was born on April 11, 1935 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Dillard and Pauline Carter.

In her later years, Polly spread joy through her many postings on Facebook and enjoying the replies from her many followers. She began to crotchet at the age of nine and continued until her last day. Crocheting her beautiful works of art gave her a way to share her love and a piece of herself to those around her.

Polly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph LaVern Croskrey, one son Marc, one brother, and one sister.

She is survived by her children Christopher, Vance, Paul, Wesley and Amy Wells, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
