Ricky Joe Gray, 67, of Jacksonville, was ushered away by angels from the Little Rock VA Hospital on Tuesday Morning, January 6, 2026, to be reunited with his loved ones and to live forever with his Heavenly Father. He was born March 10, 1958, in Little Rock to Joyce Andrews and Kenneth Gray. He joined the US Marine Corp at the age of 18 and after he was Honorably Discharged in 1979, he became a welder and a cabinet builder.   

Ricky is survived by a son, Matthew Gray; brother, Steven Gray; uncles, Larry Andrews and Rommie Andrews; and aunt, Nova Worthington. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Gray; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Mary Gray; mother and stepfather, Joyce and Don McKenzie; brother, Michael Gray; Paternal grandparents, Herman and Pauline Gray; Maternal grandparents, Floyd and Lucy Andrews. 

Ricky enjoyed sitting on the quiet and peaceful banks of a pond fishing and just watching nature, but he also loved spending time with his family at the yearly Andrews family reunions and cooking on the grill.
