Wesley Mallory Vier, age 94, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born in Sebastopol, California on December 18, 1931 to the late William and Beatrice Irene Vier.

Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Wilma LaDean Vier, two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife Erma Vier; his children Lynne Holland (Jon), Leslie Vier (Sheila), and William Vier (Victoria); bonus children Glenn Jarry (Lonnie), Anita Moran (Johnny), Linda Overbey (Mike Tyler); 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Wesley served in the United States Air Force and worked for the Arkansas Democrat for many years. He enjoyed golfing and traveling. Wesley was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00pm at his home located at 107 Flowers Drive in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
