In Loving Memory of My Dad: Delina Gail Head Sr. ![]()
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my father, Delina Gail Head Sr., on February 8, 2026. After a long and incredibly brave battle with stage three lung cancer and leukemia, he is finally at peace.
Anyone who knew my dad knew he was a worker. He started his career in drywall at just seventeen years old, and for 42 years, those hands built more than just walls—they built a legacy of hard work and grit.
But beyond the hard work, Dad had a sense of humor that was truly out of this world. He was the kind of person who could make you laugh until you cried, and his love for us kids was completely unconditional. No matter what happened in life, we knew he was in our corner.
He is now reunited with my siblings, Dawn Barnes and Delina Gail Head Jr., who preceded him in death. He leaves behind myself and my siblings, Robert Head, Shawn Morgan, Tiffany Head, and Maylea Richmond, along with so many memories we will hold onto forever.
