Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Angelita Marie Lorenzana, age 67, of Ward, Arkansas left this world on January 27, 2026. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on October 25, 1958 to Ernesto Norton Lorenzana and Delores Daphine Thomas.

Angelita Marie Lorenzana “Lita” had a love for life and a beautifully, wondering soul.  She often traveled to the shores of California “her true home”.  She loved sunshine, going to the beach and eating seafood more than anyone.  She was unique in everything and all aspects of her life. She loved birds and would often “spend her last” on seeds and be the happier for it.  She loved having her hair styled, wearing rainbow clothes and often put too much garlic in her food. She was “The Seasoning Queen.”  She loved all kinds of music, from Christian and Rock to Pop and Oldies.  She would often be caught singing, “You Are My Sunshine” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”.

But most of all she loved her family.  She grew up as the only girl of seven brothers, who protected, cherished and loved her their entire lives.

Lita is survived by three brothers Norman Lorenzana, Nathaniel Lorenzana, and Eric Lorenzana all of Ward, AR; five children Lolita (Jordan) Ray of Little Rock, AR, Angela (Anthony) Matas of Bryant, AR, Thomas Navarrete and Emmanuel (Luz) Navarrete both of Austin, TX, and Elizabeth (Keith) Little of Fayetteville, AR; seven grandchildren Tristan Owens of Clearwater, FL, Anna (Alex) Thompson, Dallas Owens, Aiden Matas, and Aceson Matas all of Bryant, AR, Emmanuel Navarrete of Austin, TX, and J.T. Ray of Fayetteville, AR; two great-granddaughters Marley Owens and Ava Thompson both of Bryant, AR; along with countless friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto Norton Lorenzana and Delores Daphine Thomas; three brothers Danny Lorenzana of Pensacola, FL, Kenneth Lorenzana of Searcy, AR, and Anthony Lorenzana of Ward, AR; and her sister Florida Lisa Lorenzana of Pensacola, FL.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1:00pm with the memorial service starting at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.
