Carey Lynn Fason, 50, passed away on February 18, 2026. Born on July 17, 1975, Carey was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt whose life was rooted in love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Lee Fason.

Carey is survived by her beloved son, Matthew Fason; her mother, Katherine Ann Armstrong; her sister, Lorie Ann Moix; her brother, Bobby Wayne Fason Sr.; her nephew, Cory Lee Evans; her niece, Bailey August Brown; and her nephew, Bobby Wayne Fason Jr.

Carey’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished her role as a mother and was deeply proud of her son. She shared a special bond with her mother and siblings, and she loved being an aunt, always offering encouragement, laughter, and unconditional support.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private service will be held by the family to celebrate her life.
