Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Domingo Garcia, 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed from his earthly life on January 30, 2026.

Domingo, affectionately known by his family as Quito, was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Elodia Marie and Domingo Juan Garcia on April 4, 1963. Domingo went to technical school in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was there he was married to Valarie Jean Fredrickson on April 19, 1986. Domingo worked for General Motors for 39 years where he earned many awards and accolades. Domingo and Valarie moved with their growing family to nine different states over the years for Domingo’s job. Domingo and Valarie were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1999. Domingo held many callings to serve in the church including in leadership positions, his favorite calling was one he has had most frequently and one he did with Valarie, organizing events for the area members. In 2022, Domingo began working for a Nissan dealership- where he completed his career with cars, his biggest passion.

Domingo is preceded in death by his parents, Elodia and Domingo Garcia, his older sisters, Sandy Roughton and Gilda Garcia and his niece, Kimmy Roughton.

Domingo is survived by his wife, Valarie Garcia; his daughters Jessica (Kyle) Bartholomew, Brittany (Brian) Gash, Staci (Wesley) Kates, and Krissi (Brock) Smith and bonus daughter Selina (James) Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Hayden, Grace, Boston, Merci, Nadia, Kennedy, Amelia, Kamryn and Amara; his sister, Veronica White; several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and many beloved dogs and grand-dogs.

Family-hosted Services for Domingo will be at 10AM on Friday, February 6, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 13901 Quail Run Dr. Little Rock, AR 72210

We will be attempting to stream the service, however due to the recent weather technology may not be reliable. A link will be posted on the family’s social media of the streaming.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Garcia family for financial assistance and to a memorial to be made in Dongo’s name by Venmo to @domgarciafam
