Doris Jean Johnson Robinson was born in Kennett, Missouri on September 27, 1945.  She passed away peacefully, at home on January 27, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents Porter Whiteside and Ruth Ivy Whiteside; her maternal grandparents, Columbus Ivy and Josie Ivy and her paternal grandparents Parvin Whiteside and Hattie Whiteside; a sister, Tonya Francisca Whiteside and a brother Norris Whiteside (Linda Whiteside) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was a dedicated nurse who worked in the nursing field for over 35 years. If not working, you would find her playing with her pets, shopping for nursing uniforms or shopping for a new purse.

She leaves behind her son Boris Whiteside (Barbara Whiteside) and a grandson Jordan Whiteside all of Stone Mountain Georgia. She also leaves behind her daughter, Cassandra Monice Whiteside of Alexander Arkansas; five sisters and one brother, Cheryl Royal, Marcia Whiteside, Brenda Whiteside Ward, Ellery Whiteside, Betty Wade (Roscoe Wade) all of Chicago Illinois, and Robin Whiteside of Highland Indiana; a dear cousin, Regonald Ford and family of Hayti, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends from Chicago Illinois, Memphis Tennessee, Bentonville Arkansas, Indianapolis Indiana, Charlotte North Carolina, Poplar Bluff Missouri, Kansas City Missouri, St. Louis Missouri, Kennett Missouri, Highland Indiana, Hannibal Missouri, Tampa Florida, Caruthersville Missouri, Springfield Missouri and California.
