Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Janet (Jan) Christine Mauldin, age 81, of Little Rock, passed away after a brief illness on February 3, 2026.  She is predeceased by her parents, Gilbert Felling and Estelle Mason; her son, Mason Mauldin; and her former husband, Bill Mauldin. Jan is survived by her children Damon Mauldin (Lisa) and Dayna Gober (Reggie); her grandchildren, Melissa (Mel) and Natalie Mauldin, and Tyson and Collins Gober; sister Gail Cutting; brother Greg Felling (Ann); brother Mark Felling (Gail). She was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Jan worked much of her life in office management for law firms and, until her passing, she served as the bookkeeper for St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for many years. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Mark’s and a devoted servant and member of various church groups including the Daughters of the King, Christ Care Group, Altar Guild and Women’s Bible Study. She considered the church her family and will be dearly missed by all.

Jan was first and foremost young at heart and an adventurer. She enjoyed travelling with her siblings, children, and grandchildren. She was beloved by so many people who came to know her over the years and was regarded as a “second mother or grandmother.”

Funeral and committal services for Jan will be held February 13, 2026 at 1 pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, AR  72207. A reception at the church will follow the service. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials can be made in Jan’s name to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at the above address.

I’m so glad that I got to know Gran Jan. She was such a special lady-so adventurous and up for anything. She obviously loved life and her family and made everyone feel like they were included. I can’t imagine hanging out by the pool next summer without her being there. Praying that the special memories will help give comfort to all who loved her.
