John Novarese was a resident of McRae, AR and went to be with the lord on February 10, 2026 at the age of 80. John Novarese was born September 3, 1945.
John proceeded in death by his wife Donna Novarese and son John Paul Novarese. He survived by his children Jessica Novarese-Dority and son-in-law John Dority and son James Gray; his grandchildren Amber Lewis, Rebecca Novarese, Brittany Novarese, Charlie Novarese-Dority and great grandchildren Garrett and Mattie Alyssa Lewis and Heather Fay Adams.
John was a devoted husband and father. On May 28, 1970, he and Donna Fay Gray were married for the following forty-eight years they were unpartable, not only were they husband and wife, they were best friends and true soul mates having been in love since childhood. Together they raised three children together that they knew were always loved and supported no matter where life took them. His love for his family was unimaginable and everyone he met soon became family to him.
John had a passion for telling stories. Some might be to teach you something and some might just be to help you along the way but believe he had story for everything. But he always said if you want to make your wife happy make sure to always do things together that was one of the key things in life. He loved spending time with his family it was very important to him. He was a hardworking man. He had a passion for growing things in the garden and tried to pass that down to his son-in-law always telling him what he needs to get come the summer. It was as if he knew he wasn’t going to be here. So, you see my dad always had a story for something no matter how big or small it was. All you had to do was listen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service. Funeral Service to follow on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 10:00am in the chapel. Burial will take place at Weir Cemetery in McRae.

John Edward novarese was a good man who loves my mother with all his heart.Anytging momma ever wanted he tried his best to give her.now their together in heaven im sorry im not going to be able to make it due to head trauma ive been in and out the past few days.rest in peace Dad
