Judy Carol (Jarman) Cox Nice, 76, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in White Hall, Arkansas. Born on April 11, 1949, in Michigan, Judy lived a life rooted in faith and family.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her beloved husband Clarence Nice; five children: Bruce Cox and his wife Christal, Mike Cox and his wife Angie, Richard Cox, Jeff Cox and Vic Wallace, which was not her biological son, but she raised him as her own. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who brought her so much joy. She is also survived by her three brothers Tom Jarman, Jim Jarman and Lonnie Jarman and two sisters- Bonnie Adams and Tonya Giovannetti – who shared in many chapters of her life.
Judy is preceded in death by her first husband Glenn Clayton Cox; her mother Jean Remington; Father Llyod Jarman; three sisters-Jerry McDonough, Connie Jarman and Hallie Jarman- and one brother John Jarman.
A woman of deep spiritual conviction, Judy found great comfort and purpose in her faith. She loved attending church and was passionate about sharing the word of God with others. Psalm 23 carried special meaning for her – a testament to the peace she carried within and the strength she drew from her beliefs.
“The Lord is my Shephard; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou are with me; they rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table for me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow mw all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Judys warmth touched many lives. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she embraced each role-mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend with grace and love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her, and may her spirit continue to inspire all who’s lives she touched.
