
Marsha Garrett, age 71, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on January 31, 2026. She was born in Sunflower, Kansas on September 30, 1954 to Raymond Garrett and Ella Marie Davidson.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother Dora Amelia DeMint.
She is survived by her sisters Brenda Garrett and Tammie Clark (Timothy), niece Natalie Hedrick (Chris), and nephew Blake Donaubauer (Teahnna), great-nephew Blue and great-niece Eleanor.
Marsha was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and Sunday School Teacher for 20 years. She was a teacher at Cabot High School for 40 years before retiring. She was also an English Instructor at Pulaski Tech and ASU Beebe. She was a published author.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 9:30am with the funeral service starting at 10:00am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Interment to follow at 2:30pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorials can be made to the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ Children’s Program and the Sothern Christian Children’s Home in Morrilton.

Marsha will be missed by those of us who worked with her and know that she made a difference in the lives of her students. It was a privilege to teach with her. She was my friend and I too will miss her.

I remember Marsha back from the time we grew up in the Maple Crest addition in Fayetteville and going to church with the Garrett family at North Street. She was aways a joy to be around! Sympathy & Prayers from the Clark family.
