Ricky D. McDougal of Sheridan, AR was born October 28, 1969, to Jackie and Hazel McDougal and passed away on Tuesday February 24, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel McDougal.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife Christy McDougal, Daughter Victoria Easley-McDougal (Kien); bonus daughter Katie Dockery and bonus grand-daughter Kaydance Crosswhite. He also leaves behind Two Nieces, a nephew, extended family members, and a host of loved ones and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Ricky was a man of deep faith who loved God wholeheartedly. His faith shaped the way he lived – with kindness, compassion, and unwavering positivity. He had a special love for music and found joy in singing along to his favorite songs, playing the guitar, and sharing that joy with those around him. Ricky will be remembered as a happy, positive soul who always found the good in every situation. His encouragement, strength, and loving heart will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing his faith carried him home. His love, music, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on in all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

The family would like to invite friends and family to a visitation at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, AR, Monday, March 2, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:30am with Burial in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas at Union Grove Cemetery.
