David Ward was born on March 28, 1981, in Kennett, Missouri to Thurman Ward and Donna Tucker. David passed away on March 14, 2026, at home in Sheridan, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his uncles; and one aunt; and one cousin; and his father-in-law James Crouch. He was also preceded in death by his other 5 dogs, which were like his children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Melissa Ward, and his cherished dog, Zeus. He is also survived by his 15 God children; his father and mother; his brother, Jeff Ward (Cami); and extended family members. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Kathy Crouch; one brother-in-law Michael Crouch; nephews Gattin Groom and Kaleb Crouch; and his pets Beethoven and Calla.

A memorial service will be held on a later date at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church; 2511 Highway 190 South; Prattsville, Arkansas 72129.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Shriner’s Hospital, St. Jude Hospital, or any animal shelter.
