John and I went to church with John, and cared very much for him. He and John gave each other grief and had a great friendship. He was always giving hugs and teasing. We have missed seeing him since he had to leave his home. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sorry to read of John’s passing. I have known John for over 60 years. We may not have seen each other often but he always had a smile on his face & a big hug waiting no matter where we were, the races or in town. I’m sure him & dad are talking about cars as we speak. They always loved talking. He will be missed & the family will be in my prayers.

To John & Michael: I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad, He was always kind to me in high school. I have treasured memories spent with your family going to the Razorback football games, visiting your grandparents in Amity (eating at the diner!) and all things race cars! May he rest in peace and love. Warm regards, Denna
