Joseph Lee Humphrey, age 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on March 21, 2026. Joe was born in Dermott, Arkansas to the parents of Washington Humphrey Sr. and Vernestine Simpson Humphrey.

Joe excepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by both parents, one brother Washington Humphrey Jr., two sisters Berlin Humphrey Smith and Linda Faye Humprey.

He is survived by his sister Ruby Humphrey and husband Rev. Henry Dickerson, brother Willie Earl Humphrey and wife Bobbie, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Joe enjoyed his family, friends, watching TV, and working out in the yard with his father painting the house and picking up pecans. He helped his family with anything that he could do until his health began to fail. Even then, he wanted to keep trying. His brother Earl would say, “Joe, you’ve done enough. Sit down and rest.” Joseph was loved by all.
