
Darwin Daniel Lloyd Sr., age 85, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on April 11, 2026. He was born in Manistique, Michigan on April 4, 1941 to Vernon Harold Lloyd Sr. and Cassie Mae Smith.
Darwin is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Raelene Nowak, Theora Bowler, Barbara Livermore, Ethel Hewitt, Judith Collins, Ellen Ketola, George Lloyd, Donald Lloyd, and Ronald Lloyd.
He is survived by his wife Jenny Lee Friedrich; children Debroah Hickenbottom and Darwin Lloyd Jr.; granddaughter Cheyenne Hickenbottom; siblings Vernon Lloyd Jr., Elmer Lloyd, and Joy Ann Bottorff; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Darwin proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired as a U.S. Master Sergeant. He was a Grand Master Mason for the state of Arkansas and was affiliated with many organizations including Jacinto Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Grotto, Red Cross of Constantine, Night Masons, and Grand Lodge of Arkansas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. The funeral service will follow on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.

So sorry to hear of the passing of brother Dan. He and my father, Virgil Lamb,PM, Jacinto 216 were good friends and did some traveling together. He will be missed.
