Dylan B. McElroy, age 26, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away on April 5, 2026. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas to John McElroy and Jessica Johnson.
Dylan is preceded in death by his father John McElroy; grandmother Barbara Fowler; and grandfather Johnny Lee McElroy Sr.
He is survived by his wife Carisma McElroy; children Bailee McElroy, Johnny Lee McElroy III, and one on the way Lilee Mae McElroy; his mother Jessica Johnson; brother Michael David Blickenstaff; best friends Levi Scott and Dakota Aklin; along with a host of extended family and many friends.
Dylan was the biggest Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed spending his time by the water with a fishing pole. He loved his family fiercely and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A family-hosted memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00pm at Complete in Christ Church in Searcy, Arkansas.

Carisma and all the families, the MacAvoy’s and yours. I was in the Restoration House with charisma and I knew the story. I was just told by a fellow graduate Crystal Swift about this tragedy. It has been in my heart for the last week and I am so saddened and heartbroken to hear that charisma. I cannot come to the service because I have a church cleanup here in Mountain View on that same day. But I am thinking about you. I have been praying and I am so very sorry. Amen
