Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Our beloved Germae Stroud, 52 of Cabot, Arkansas, has gone to be with the Lord on March 31, 2026.

Born Germenia Opaon Aguinid, on November 13, 1973, in Gingoog City, Phil. and preceded in death by her parents Pedro & Maximina Aguinid. Also preceding her is Brother-in-law Pedro … of Gingoog City, Phil. and her Father-in-law Max Henson of Scott, AR.

While living in the Philippines she graduated from St. Mary’s Academy of Lunao and later went on to receive a BA in Computer Science.  In 2005, she met the love of her life, moved to the United States and got married.

She had a strong heart for the Lord and let his light shine in everything she did! She was loud, funny, and a little opinionated but always compassionate, caring, and ready to feed anyone who walked thru the door. With a heart of gold and a tray full of egg rolls is how we will always remember her.

She is survived by two brothers Victor (Mylene) Aguinid of Manilla, Phil. and Celso (Carmen) Aguinid, sister Lorna Aguinid all from Gingoog City, Phil. Aunt Vitellana Cago of NYC, NY whom she often considered to be a second mother. They never missed a chance to spend hours laughing together. In addition to her many nieces, nephews, are her close cousins Ester (Jamie) Agpalo of  New York, NY and Jojo (Aileen) Espiritu of New Jersey, NY along with many others in the Philippines.

She also leaves her devoted husband of 20 years, Doug Stroud of Cabot, AR. Mother-in-law Pat Stroud-Henson of Sherwood, AR, Sister-in-laws Ann (Alan) Germany, Tucson, AZ and Tricia (Michael) Davidson of NLR, AR. His two daughters Ashley (Cisco) Priester of Cabot, AR and Leslie Stroud of Newport, AR. Grandchildren Brianna (Joe) Thomas, Olivia Stroud, Sylvia Priester all from Cabot,AR along with Jacob & Natalie Germany of Tucson, AZ. Even great grandchildren Paxtyn & Joseph Thomas of Cabot, AR. Along with her husband’s extended family in Texas that she dearly loved.

In addition to her family, Germae is also survived by her close friends Jay (Judy) Chandler, Charlie (Anna) Dixon, and Jim (Marcy) Ridings.

The family will hold a private service at a later time. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to breast cancer research.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
