Jerry Wayne Leggitt, age 82, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away April 20, 2026. He was born in Jacksonville, November 24, 1943 to Lucille and Dillard Leggitt.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Alma Leggitt, and nephew Mike Garland.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 61 years Peggy, brother Ted Leggitt (Betty), sister Shirley Henry, nieces Karen Goff (Richard) and Vickie Garland, nephew Scott Maxwell, along with extended family and friends.
Jerry was a barber and co-owner of Esquire Barber Shop in Jacksonville for 30 years. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, going to casinos and horse races, and visiting his friends at Tailgaters Bar.
Jerry will be cremated, and he requested no service.

Hope someone does a FB post – Jerry & Harold were double cousins – we spent many wonderful hours playing bridge & going to Vegas when our boys were young. Peggy you have been such a
