Juanita Tatum, 79, of Lonoke, passed away in her home on April 4, 2026.

Juanita was born in Little Rock to George and Nettie Morgan on June 7, 1946. She married her soul mate, Alvin Tatum on April 23, 1965. Together they had two children. Juanita was a homemaker who loved yardwork, cooking, feeding her raccoons, and loving on all her many cats.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Tatum, her parents George and Nettie, brothers George Jr. and Charlie, and sister Vonnie.

Juanita is survived by her son JR (Lori); daughter Rebecca (Bill); grandchildren Brittany (Steven), Steven, BJ, Lauren (Shane), Trace, Zak; four great-grandchildren Colton, Kaylee, Melanie, and Addison; brother Hoyt Morgan; brother-in-law Bill Tatum (Jo); and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 2:00-3:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Graveside services will be held immediately after visitation at Pat Howell Cemetery at 3:30pm with Bro. David Maynard officiating.
