Rickey James Whipple, age 58, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on April 24, 2026. He was born in Benton, Illinois on September 16, 1967 to Oscar Whipple and Patricia Fay Gilmer.

Rickey is preceded in death by two sisters Angela Whipple and Terrie Bisbee.

He is survived by his children Sara Whipple, Adam Whipple, Jami King, Dustin Whipple, Jaqueline McIntosh; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his siblings Sandra (Tim) Long, Sherry (Rob) Lee, Jack (Brenda) Whipple, Sharlene Alexander, Jason (Decie) Whipple; Lucky Hinds, Roy New, Jerry Ivey, Norman Whipple, and Craig Poe; along with a host of nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended family and his APA family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00pm followed by a celebration of life at 3:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.
