I know we didn’t get to see one another alot but we talked over the phone. He was one great cuz friend . He was a hoot when younger always up to something. He loved his family unconditionally and never meet a strange. Love ya stan and I know you will be watching us all the time . Give mom and dad a big hug for me.
Stan, my brother, I have so many memories of you. Some of the fondest are:
– Carol and Wayne playing cards with mom and dad, us hanging with our “sisters”, Robbie & DeeDee.
– Bob and Faye visiting to play cards while we hung out with David and Kelly
– Riding our bikes with the Vvroom motors pretend we had motor cycles
– Getting those superhero jammies, you going, “nana nana nana nana, Batman”, me as Spider-Man
– Playing football with you at Sylvan Hills. I wanted to be big like you.
– You calling often to say who you recently ran into from high school
– Calling with every new child, you being so proud of each one, including my boys
– That last time you called with your “crew” to sing me Happy Birthday
But what I miss most is you walking in and saying “Brother of mine”, then giving me a big ol’ bear hug. I could really use one of those right now. Hug everyone there for me. – Steve
