Robert Arnold Schuck, age 79, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on May 4, 2026. He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 22, 1947 to Walter and Beatrice Schuck.
Bob embodied the heart of a coach on the baseball field, at work and at home.
Like all good coaches he was disciplined, focused, patient, steadfast, and encouraging. He led by example with a dedicated work ethic.
He encouraged those around him to reach their highest potential.
The Galatians 5:22-23 Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) was a natural expression of his existence.
He loved his family with the kind of love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
He was a man of great faith, few words and much integrity.
He leaves behind friends and family who will mourn his absence yet go forward with the memories and blessings of having been a part of his life.
We’d like to thank Melissa Hight and her team, and Gentiva Hospice for the outstanding care and comfort that they provided for Bob in his last weeks.
Bob always enjoyed helping others, so in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arkansas Foodbank at https://arkansasfoodbank.org

Bob was an exceptional friend whose absence will be deeply felt. For years, I relied on his steady judgment and wealth of experience while we were at Alltel. But it was in retirement that our friendship truly flourished. The countless days we spent on the golf course are among my fondest memories—full of camaraderie and many a laugh.
Thank you Jeff for your kind words about Bob. I too benefitted from his steady judgment and wisdom about so many things. He had so much fun golfing with you. Thanks for being a great friend to him.
I recall talking with Bob when he drove me through the hospital parking lot as their courtesy driver. He was always a perfect gentleman. But I knew him best through friendship with his lovely wife, Becky. What a beautiful love they shared to the very end as Becky held him when he passed. May God bless both as this transition unfolds.
