Anna Kathryn Coates, 42, of Maumelle, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She fought fiercely until the very end. She was born on August 9, 1983, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Coates and Judy Halvorsen-Coates.

Anna graduated from Oak Grove high School and graduated with an associate’s degree from University of Arkansas Little Rock. Anna was a kindhearted free spirit and was always giving to others. She was creative, artistic, and enjoyed freelance drawing. She enjoyed playing softball and listening to music. Most of all, Anna loved animals, especially dogs.

Anna is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Lawton B and Betty L Coates; her maternal grandparents William J and JoAnne L Halvorsen; her “Uncle Bob” Robert J Halvorsen; her beloved dog Beau.

Anna leaves behind her parents Robert and Judy Coates; her sister Amy M Raymo (Kevin); and many friends and extended family.

The family would like to thank LifeTouch Health Hospice for the care and love they provided Anna and her family during this time of bereavement.
