Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Charity Ann Jackson Jones, of Little Rock, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends. She was born on September 15, 1976, and lived a life filled with humor, creativity and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in everyday moments.

For the past 15 years, Charity shared her life with the love of her life, Shico Laquon Jones. Together, they built a relationship grounded in love, companionship and unwavering support.

She found joy in nature and loved beautiful beaches, colorful sunsets and rainbows. Charity had a gift for bringing sparkle to the world around her – quite literally. She loved bedazzling anything she could get her hands on. To Charity, everything was better when it sparkled.

One of the many ways she shared her love was through the notes she would leave for family and friends to discover. Whether it was a simple “I love you” or a silly message that made someone laugh and roll their eyes at the same time, those notes became small reminders of the joy she brought into the lived of others.

Family and friendship meant everything to Charity. She considered Stephanie Bostad and Michael Lovell family and their bond was one she cherished deeply. During her final months, Stephanie and Brenden Greer brought Charity tremendous comfort and happiness. Together they shared popsicles, conversations, laughter and countless hours watching television, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Charity was preceded in death by her parents, Homer VanDeWoestyne and Sylvia Jones Miller, and grandparents. She leaves behind her beloved partner, Shico Jones; her son, Kane and “the daughter she always wanted”, Jessica; and her cherished grandchildren, Lilo, Audri, and Nehemiah. She is also survived by Jayden Jones and Jaliyah Jones, along with many other loved ones.

Charity will be remembered for her playful spirit, her love of sparkle and her ability to make people feel loved through the simplest gestures.

Her light remains in every rainbow, every sunset, every handwritten note, and every little thing that sparkles.
