
George “Jitter” Garrett, age 81, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 8, 2026. He was surrounded by family at Saline Memorial Hospital after a brief time of pneumonia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Geroge L. Garrett, and his mother, Grace B. Garrett.
He is survived by his two daughters Misty Garrett and Monica Kendrick (Wayne) both of Benton, Arkansas. These two girls were his “Pride and Joy”. He had one grandson Heath Kendrick (Karly) of Tennessee. He is also survived by two sisters Rebecca “Polly” Carlson of Kansas and Martha “Sue” Copeland of Oklahoma and lots of family who love and will miss him dearly.
His daughters would like to thank Saline Memorial Hospital ER and Critical Care Unit for all the compassion they showed this past week.
