Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Johnny Matthew Hill, age 47, of Vilonia, Arkansas, left this earth and entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on June 15, 2026. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Johnny Hill and Sharon Broadaway Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Kasey Hill; his son, Grant; and his daughter, Natalie. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon; his sister, Amy Paredes, and her husband, Pablo; his in-laws, Sam and Debbie Williams; his brother-in-law, Jeff Williams, and his wife, Jamie; and his siblings, Mark and Sean. Matt also leaves behind dear family friends Kenneth and Marie Winford, Kevin and Shelby Winford, and Kandace and Justin Cook. Uncle Matt was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews: Peyton, Lola, Clara, Lydia, Abigail, Alexis, Kenny, Karter, Shanley, Rowan, Josie, Kolton, Kason, and Karoline. He will be greatly missed by many loving family members and friends.

Matt was a graduate of Riverside High School and Williams Baptist University. He spent most of his career serving in Southern Baptist churches throughout Arkansas, including Lake City, Harrisburg, Searcy, Austin, and Cabot.

The two greatest blessings of his life were his children. He shared with them his faith, his love of sports, and his passion for the outdoors. Together they made memories watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals, enjoying picnics, riding four-wheelers, hunting, singing during car rides and guitar jam sessions, and cheering from the bleachers.

Ultimately, it was Matt’s relationship with God that fueled his mission in life: to share his faith and walk alongside others. Whether leading mission teams, teaching Bible classes, sharing a meal, sitting with someone through difficult times, or talking late into the night, Matt wanted people to know the Lord and know they were not alone. He rarely met a stranger because before long, he would be your friend and he would never forget you. His favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 17:17, and he lived it daily. Matt was a friend to all he met, and his legacy lives on through those relationships.

A celebration of Matt’s life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church, 767 Rocky Point Road, Conway, AR 72032. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established for the family at Centennial Bank.

My heart aches for Matt’s family and friends. I will forever see him at his station at work and will miss his cutting up and messing with his coworkers. Matt has left a void that will never be filled. Kasey, Natalie and Grant-I love you and will be praying for your healing.

We are deeply sadden for your family. Matt will be missed terribly. He was a good friend and enjoyed the many conversations we had and time spent at work with him! We knew how much he loved the Lord and his family and friends and chocolate chip cookies! Along with other things he had a passion for! God Bless you all and pray that in the days to come you will have a peace that surpasses all understanding.
