Kenneth “Kenny” Johnston, born October 21, 1957, passed away June 1, 2026 after a short but very strong fight of pulmonary fibrosis.

He was a machinist for 48 years, many of which were spent at T&S Machine Shop with Travis Zuber. He loved woodworking and anything that involved building things with his hands. He loved camping, fishing, float trips, hunting, and spending time with family and friends, especially if there was a cookout or any Razorback game involved. He loved his Hogs.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Sherrill and Shirley Johnston; brother Kevin Johnston; son Brian Johnston; daughters Jennifer Johnston, LeeAnne Jones, and Allison Bass; and wife Joanne Johnston.

He is survived by loving fiancé Barbara Marshall; brother Keith Johnston; sister Kathy Balding (Jessie); one son Cody Johnston; two stepsons Tim Dublin (Jamie) and Michael Dublin; two stepdaughters Tasha Marshall and Heather Howard (Zack); five granddaughters Sadie Dublin, Matti Dublin, Colbie Lane, Tadessa Robertson, and Kara Henson; six grandsons Zeke, Jaxon, Zayden, Karson, Tyler, and Dillon; and a slew of family and friends that all loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00am at Mars Hill Baptist Church located at 12800 Mars Hill Rd, Bauxite, AR. Pastor Charlie Wood will be officiating the service.
