Nathan Thomas McKee, 38, passed away on June 13, 2026 in North Little Rock, AR, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.
Nathan was born on February 23, 1988 in Little Rock, AR. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, warmth, and comfort to those around him.
Nathan was baptized as a teenager and remained a firm believer in God throughout his life, living with humility, kindness, and a heart that was always willing to help others.
Above all else, Nathan loved his daughter, Zoey Ann Denise McKee. She was the center of his whole world, and he was incredibly proud to be her father. She was the light of his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with her.
Nathan was a skilled carpenter who took pride in his work and had a natural talent for building and creating. He also enjoyed working on motorcycles, cars, and anything that allowed him to use his hands and creativity. Whether he was fishing, spending time with family and friends, or telling jokes to make everyone laugh, Nathan brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
Known for his funny personality, kind heart, and old soul, Nathan never met a stranger. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and his genuine nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Fulmer; and Uncle Lonnie McKee.
He is survived by his mother, Teresa Jean Whittiker; and his parents, Thurman Chester McKee, Jr and Dela “DeeDee” McKee; his beloved daughter, Zoey Ann Denise McKee; Zoey’s mother, Samantha “Nikki” Stevens; his sisters, Kayla McKee, Kaycee McKee, Victoria Whittiker, Hannah Whittiker (Dewayne) , Natalie Reese, and Cheyanne Reese; two brothers, Jeffrey Whittiker (Anna) and Decota Ahrens; grandparents, Thurman and Debbie McKee, Sonny Fulmer, and Randy and Delaine Beard. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, generosity, and friendship.
While his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will continue to live on through the stories, laughter, lessons, and love he shared throughout his life. We find comfort in knowing that his faith was strong and that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord. His laughter, his generosity, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“In My Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2
