I didn’t know her very personally but I know her mother. Heard so many amazing stories and how her personality was amazing and she’s very kind and passionate. I pray for babies to find guidance through out this process. I know how they feel. I went through my self. Love their family like my own family. Raven mother took me in at Waffle House and treated me as her own. So full of life and happiness her mother told me about her. I’m here for the family
My kids and I love you all. This is so hard to accept.
My most beautiful niece,I’m so going to miss you. I’m honored to be your Tanta Sheila. Words cannot describe how much,I love you. You will forever hold a special place in my heart. I love you GIGANTICLY 💚💚💚🕊️🕊️🕊️. REST IN THE REALMS OF HEAVEN. TANTA SHEILA WILL SEE YOU IN THE MORNING 💚
When I reconnected with Raven, I never imagined she would remember me. High school was an incredibly difficult time for me—I was bullied relentlessly—but Raven was one of the rare people who always showed me kindness. She had a way of making me feel seen, valued, and like I mattered when I often felt invisible.
Over the last few months, we talked often, and I was reminded of just how truly special she was. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine heart never changed. She had a gift for making people feel loved and accepted simply by being herself.
I am so grateful that our paths crossed again and that I had the chance to know her beyond those high school years. The memories of our conversations and her kindness will stay with me forever. Raven was an amazing person, and I will always hold her close to my heart. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. ❤️
You’re definitely irreplaceable! I will forever keep my promise to you! Fly high my sweet angel! Forever and always I will love you!

Shirley, there are no words I can express at this time to help you and your family through this pain. Just know I love you all and I am here for you. May God guide you through this difficult time.
Raven was so kind to me and had such an open heart when I was going through very hard times. She lived across the street from me. I am shocked and saddened by this news. Her daughters truly were her entire world. May she rest in peace and love . 💕
Rest in peace beautiful. Many prayers to your family. I only knew of you through officer Norman on Facebook. I wish your kids could’ve had more time with you.
I never got the honor of meeting you face to face but watching your story and your strength has been the most powerful thing I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring me on a personal level. Heaven gained an Angel for sure. Rest in Heaven beautiful queen.
A mother’s job is never finished, Raven will live on in her daughters, you will see her smile and hear her laughter in them. When I met Raven and you I was in a new state and knew no one and you both became my friends and I love you both!! I’m sorry I can’t attend but you know if you ever need me I’m here for you.
My husband and I knew Raven through her mother, who is a favorite person of ours. In reading the comments here it is evident as to what a kind, generous, loving person Raven was to the world. Shirley often spoke of Raven shenanigans with great fondness. Fly free, Raven, you are greatly missed by many. The funeral was lovely and a great tribute to Raven.
May she continue to live on through her beautiful daughters. Sending so much love and prayers to her beautiful daughters.
