Walter Roy Kendrick, 80, was called home on June 6, 2026. He was born January 28, 1946 at home in Atkins, Arkansas to Bill and Euna Kendrick.

Roy is survived by his wife Barbara; his children Keith (Julie) Kendrick, Shirley (Steven) Walker, Rosie (Shannon) Rupe, Terry “Turkey” Kendrick, Markis Kendrick; his stepchildren Amanda (Carmelo) Mendoza, April (Dustin) Clark, Ronald Keathley, Donald Keathley; his sister Elizabeth Battles; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Thelma; two sons Ricky and Eziekiel “Bubba”; his daughter Becky; his parents Bill and Euna Kendrick; sister Emma; brothers James Earl, Raymond, Lowel, Monroe.

Roy spent his life raising kids and farming. He did both with his whole heart and commitment. He loved to fish and spend time in his shop tinkering and working on things. He did not like to sit still and always felt like he needed to be working. He taught his kids that hard work and honestly was they needed to live by. He touched so many lives and was loved by a multitude of people. He leaves behind an abundance of people who loved him. He will be dearly missed by so many.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 2:00pm with the service at 3:00pm at Flynn Cemetery in Humnoke, Arkansas.
