
Buddy Wayne James, 44, of Bald Knob, Ar., was called home on July 8th, 2026, at Pine Bluff, Ar. He was born on April 5th, 1982, in Lake Village, Ar to Frances Marie James (Hayes) and James Edward James.
Buddy Wayne James will be remembered for his kindness, humor, faith, generosity, dedication to family, love of community and his gift of singing. Throughout his life, he enjoyed his family, fishing, writing poems and songs. He was a collector of odd things and knew how to make others smile. He diligently sought the Lord despite life circumstances.
He is preceded in death by his mother Frances Marie James (Hayes), father James Edward James, brother George Ferguson (Little John) and grandparents.
He is survived by his Wife Ashley Elizabeth James of Bald Knob, Ar., and stepson Aiden Laron Murphy of Monticello, Ar., his brother Brent James and wife Lauren of Beloit, Wi., his brother Anthony Lowrey and wife Donna of Greenwood, Ar., his brother Bryan James and wife Leslie of McGehee, Ar., his sister Tanya Roberts of Monticello, Ar., his brother Joseph James of Monticello, Ar., his sister Kimberley James of Monticello, Ar. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 18th at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Life Church located at 143 Powder Fork, Rd Bald Knob, Ar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Life Church in Buddy Wayne James’ memory.
The family would like to thank everyone for their compassion, support, and care during this time.

I would like to say goodbye to my longtime friend of 20 yrs.or more it sure seems like more. I enjoyed buddy and having him as a friend. Id say he was a pretty loyal but we all have the most loyal friend ever in Jesus Christ and I will keep diligently seeking him as long as I live and help anyone do anything I can threw Jesus Christ as personal savior and he loves us all!
