Donald Edwin “Deej” Hill Jr., age 37, of Oxford, Arkansas passed away on July 10, 2026. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 17, 1989 to Donald Edwin Hill Sr. and Sheila Ann (Byrd) Hill.

Deej is preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Riley; Grandma Peewee; cousin Ashley Pearl Russell; and his brother Todd Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Candice Hill; his daughters Brylee Hill (15), Kaylynn Hill (12), and Joy Beth Alexander (8); his stepdaughter Isabella Howell (10); his parents Donald and Sheila Hill; his sister Felicia Jones and her husband Ulysses (AKA Ugg); his nephew Derrick Jones; along with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deej was our favorite mechanic and a jack of all trades who enjoyed working on everything he could get his hands on. He loved riding his motorcycle and would help anybody in need.

A family-hosted memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1:00-4:00pm at Hicks Family Farm located at 184 Lasiter Rd, Lonoke, AR 72086.

    I didn’t personally know Deej, but I babysat his two daughters Kaylynn & Joy Beth. Absolutely loved his parents and his wife! They talked about him a lot and I didn’t have to meet him to know he was a great person! My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time!

    We will miss you dearly bub. Everyone teased Rusty and I about Ryan being his. Lol Ryan called deej his brother. Deej always played with him. He will be missed so very much. Thank you all for everything you all helped our family. We will forever be grateful.
