Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

John Rodney Crum, 74, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Born on April 19, 1952 in Albany, Georgia to Felton and Annie Mae Crum.

After graduating from Metropolitan High School in 1972, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. From there he went on to work for General Electric for 20+ years. He had a deep love for history, especially military history. He was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan, passing that love down to all of his children and grandchildren. He loved cars, mostly hot rods and especially Chevrolet Corvettes. John loved all animals, never turning away a stray. He loved the outdoors, always tending to his yard. He also had a knack for picking winning scratch off tickets. He loved all sports, but his favorite was whatever his kids were playing at the time, sitting along the left field line, never missing a game.

John is survived by his four children Sandra Boothe (Ryan), Carol Putnam (Rob), John Curm (Gladys), and Patrick Crum (Abbie); his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as PopPop, Chris Maddie, Brooklyn, Peyton, Cecilee, Lexi, Jade, and August; several siblings including brothers Herbert Crum and Joe Crum; along with many great friends he considered family.

Until we see you again, bicycle and we love you hard!

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.
