Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Our beloved and beautiful Linda Patrice Janes Dyer, 32, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born on July 2,1993 in Searcy, Arkansas.

Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished her children above all others, Ambrose Russell, Adaleigh Ellis, Jared Dyer, stepdaughter Braxton Dyer, and her husband, Jared Dyer.

Linda is survived by her husband and children; her mother, Ambra Melendez and stepfather Guillermo “Memo” Melendez of House Springs, Missouri; her sister, Breanna Janes of Searcy, AR; her brother, Matthew  Janes and sister-in-law Elizabeth Janes of Pine Bluff, AR; her grandmother, Linda Myers of Mt. Vernon, AR;  her mother-in-law, Sandy Russell Melroy of Cabot, AR; Tommy and Paula Reshel of El Paso, AR; Dan and  Tonie Ellis of Ward, AR; Drew and Chloe Pruitt of Cabot, AR; Ruth Russell of Ward, AR; three nieces, four  nephews, and a host of family and friends near and far who love her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Janes; her grandfather Lois “Sonny” Janes; her grandmother Patricia Carrig; and her cousin, Nathan Colvin.

Throughout her life, Linda was known for her servant’s heart, infectious laugh, outgoing personality, love of the Lord, and mighty fine cooking. She worked as a fundraiser and grant writer for The Harbor Home for several years, served in the U.S. Army, and was deeply involved in the recovery community.

Linda lived her life with a “no man left behind” mentality, opening both her home and her heart to countless people. If you were hungry, she would feed you. If you needed a place to do laundry, her door was open. If you needed a hug, she gave the very best ones. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, she would hold you close and help carry your burden. Our Lin was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold.

A celebration of Linda’s life and legacy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at NLC Church, 3400 West Main Street, Cabot, Arkansas 72023. A private burial will immediately follow.

Linda will be remembered forever and a day. She will be deeply missed here on Earth, but Heaven is surely filled with her laughter as the angels celebrate her arrival. Her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
