Melody Kay Perez, 46, of Plumerville, Arkansas passed away July 5, 2026. She was born September 4, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia to Cary and Patricia Burris.
Melody is survived by her husband Vianey Perez; her children Curtis (26), Yazmin (9), Ramario (11), Brandon (15), Gabriel (15), Ruby (13), and Diamond Rose (24); her siblings Charles Pomeroy, Timothy Pomeroy, Kimberly Burris, Edward Burris, and Sonny Burris; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Melody enjoyed music and being the life of the party. She was very kind hearted and loved helping others. She adored her kids and will be greatly missed.

This one hurts. I met Melody years ago while she was working at the Kum & Go in Maumelle, and she always had such a warm spirit. It’s hard to believe she’s gone. Sending love and prayers to her family and friends during this unimaginable loss. Rest in peace, Melody. 💔 I love you and your family.

I’m at a loss for words. Feels like I’m still in shock! We had many many laughs at work when Melody worked at Brookridge. It was never a dull moment. Praying for the family! Rest easy love!
