Patty Evon Wilks, age 91, passed away on June 26, 2026. She was born on March 25, 1935.

Patty was raised in Springfield Missouri; she resided in Sherwood for the last 40 years. She was an artist of Oil Painting, loved interior design, and hosted all seasonal meals for family gatherings. She was involved in church and devoted to her family. God assigns infinite compassion in some to help the animals, and Patty was the standard for those special people.

She is preceded in death by; her mother Avaleen Taylor, and father Jay Olin Taylor, her sister Linda Kay Taylor, and her daughter, Crystal Dawn Martin.

She is survived by; her son Jack Wilks, and three grandchildren Cody Martin, Scout Martin, and Nikki Crowley, as well as two great grandchildren Luke and Benjamin Crowley.

Patty was a loving mother and grandmother who always had treats ready on a warm cozy kitchen table. She loved gardening, shopping and spending time with her many dogs Rescued over the years. Patty is in spirit with Jesus Christ and attended First Baptist Church of Sherwood for many years. She will be greatly missed and remembered. She is in God’s Arms.
