Shawn “Nobody” Mooney, 58, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 25, 2026. Born on May 21, 1968, in Hurst, Texas, Shawn was the beloved son of William (Danny) and Ivy Lovelle Mooney.

For more than 20 years, Shawn courageously battled chronic pain, yet he never let it define him. He found joy in the things he loved most, including bowling, golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing pool. Whether he was spending time outdoors or around the pool table, Shawn cherished every opportunity to do what he loved with the people he cared about. His strength, resilience, and ability to find joy despite life’s challenges will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Shawn is survived by his loving parents, William “Danny” Mooney – Scott, Arkansas and Ivy Lovelle Mooney – Brinkley, Arkansas; his devoted wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Mooney; his children, Christina (George) Jones and Stacie Mooney; his cherished grandchildren, Amillia, Icesis, Kody, Love, Lola, King, and Bleu; his sister, Angela Warnock (Mick) as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at a later date.
