Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

After a 3 year battle with cancer, Donna Diane Nevin passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, in the early morning hours of her 67th birthday, surrounded by the love of her family.

Donna was born on August 12, 1959, in Peoria, Illinois. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and presence touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her three siblings, Dottie Stapleton, Susan Moore, and Kenny (Pam) Niemeyer; her three children, daughters Rebecca Bunting (Jimmey) and Rachelle Kelly, and son Nathan Hall (Anita); and her grandchildren, Brock (Taylor) Bunting, Seth (Katherine) Guajardo, Lauren (Josh) Imhoff, Trent Bunting (Lauryn), Warren Montgomery, Justin and Erika Hall, Brody Bunting (Tori), and Adara Kelly; along with six great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Seddon, and her father, LaVerne Niemeyer.

Donna will be remembered most for the love she poured into her family and the countless memories she created with the people she held dear. She found joy in being a member of Civil Air Patrol, crafting, baking, journaling, antiquing, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy and accomplishment in life, and the love she shared with them was truly immeasurable.

Those who knew Donna will carry with them the memories of her laughter, her love, and the special moments they shared. Though her time with us has come to an end, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will remain a part of the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed.

The family will host a small memorial service in the coming weeks for family and friends to gather, remember Donna, and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph’s Farm stand, a place where Donna spent many days enjoying the beauty and peace of God’s creation. Email them at helpgrow@stjosephcenter.org for information on how to donate.

Death is only hard for the living. Donna was a second mom to me. She held my hand through one of the roughest times of my life and helped me learn to be strong. And how to ‘properly’ wash a cast iron skillet. She was a beautiful human inside and out. She leaves us all the better for knowing her.
