Phyllis Ann Jewell Haley, 55, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 29, 2026.

Born on September 28, 1970, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Phyllis was the beloved daughter of Orson Bruce Jewell and Ann Laura Crawford Jewell. As a child, she was passionate about figure skating, a love that reflected her grace and determination. She married the late Kerry Haley, with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Phyllis devoted her life to her family and home as a stay-at-home mother. Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her with compassion, kindness, and a servant’s heart. She found joy in helping others and always wanted the very best for everyone she met. She had a special love for animals and never hesitated to care for one in need. She also worked as a surgical instrument technician at UAMS, where her passion for the medical field and caring for others shone through.

Above all else, Phyllis cherished being a mother and “Mimi.” Family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

Phyllis is survived by her father, Orson Jewell; her sister, Tanya Jewell; her daughters, Katherine Haley her sons-in-law, Zachary Dennie, Julia Haley and her son-in-law Mason; and her beloved grandchildren, Carter, age 7, and Magnolia, age 4. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Laura Crawford Jewell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service and Crematory in Jacksonville.

As an avid gardener and plant lover, the family would greatly appreciate flowers or living plants in Phyllis’s honor.
